Brookfield High School Principal Marc Balanda is promising consequences for the person or persons who ripped a box distributing menstrual products off the wall of one of the school’s bathrooms.
In an e-mail sent to students on Wednesday and obtained by Inside Investigator, Balanda states that the dispenser, which was installed in the boys bathroom by the Main Office, was put there following state law. A bill passed in the 2022 legislative session requires public school Boards of Education to provide free menstrual products to students in all girls restrooms, in any all-gender restrooms, and in at least one boys restroom.
According to Connecticut’s Department of Public Health (DPH) “The intention of the law is to address period poverty, meaning the struggle to purchase period products due to lack of income.”
In the e-mail, Balada says that the dispenser in the boys bathroom was installed at 9:30 Wednesday morning and “by 9:52 AM, tampons were on the floor, the newly installed distribution box was ripped off the wall along with the masonry anchors, and the distribution box itself was destroyed.”
“According to state law, we will re-install this box in the boys’ bathroom,” it goes on to say.
Balanda also informs students that the school has a list of suspects and believes they know who the perpetrator(s) may be. He called the incident “the most egregious instance of vandalism and destruction of property in recent weeks” saying that other forms of vandalism, including broken stall doors, soap dispensers being ripped off walls, and various items stuffed into toilets also tend to happen only in boys bathrooms.
“It needs to stop,” he says.
“If you don’t understand something, do not resort to vandalism, ask for more information,” he concludes. “Use your words to start a dialogue rather than using your hands to destroy something.”

What “adult” speaks like this? If you have to make every exception the rule, at least deal with these things in concrete terms. The principal’s cheap shot about men v boys is uncalled for. Find the kids, admonish, discipline. Move on.
Or, don’t do things that are so fundamentally stupid that even adolescent boys can easily ascertain the stupidity of the endeavor. I personally hope the boys destroy every tampon dispenser until the state gives up or goes bankrupt. It’s civil disobedience to disordered civil servants and it’s glorious.

whomever drafted and passed the law requiring for a tampon dispenser in all bathrooms including boys needs reeducation! Why does a biological male need a tampon? What a waste of taxpayer money! No wonder the dispenser got wrecked! The voters need to find out who proposed the law and got it approved along with those who voted for and throw them out of office. If they landed on their head i doubt it would do any damage clearly they lack intelligence. Thank goodness I do not live in that statye!

What are the consequences for this principles insanity putting tampons in a males bathroom? Does he need a remedial biology class?
The boys understand perfectly. This principal wants them to be complicit in a lie and enable mental health issues. It is disgusting and any adult who encourages or enables a child’s mental health illnesses has no place around kids, let alone a school principal. Boys and men do not have periods.
Does this principal enable the kids with anorexia? Does he suggest liposuction and encourage it? There is no difference between the two. Both are mental health issues.

First of all there is no need for menstrual products in a boys bathroom. They will never menstruate. Secondly, I applaud the kid(s) who did this and they should not be punished. Yes it’s vandalism but it’s degrading at the same time on males behalf. There will only be 2 genders. This whole trans movement is promoting mental illness

Hooray for the boys of Brookfield High School. They are insulting you, and as men, you shouldn’t stand for it. Oh, and tampons burn too in case you don’t want to keep tearing the dispensers off the wall.
Looks like the only “man” at BHS that needs a tampon is Principal Balanda. Put the damn machine outside the men’s room door in the hallway and screw state law. If the state politico pukes want to promote mental disorders on our kids it’s up to you and others in authority to fight back against this insanity, not condone it.

Apparently, the tampons are there for the use of any school girl who has decided that she would rather be a boy. The next step is installing urinals in the girl’s restrooms for the use of boy’s who would rather be girls.
