Corruption thrives in darkness, so the reporting team at Inside Investigator shines a light to eradicate wrongdoing.

Our award-winning nonprofit newsroom tells human stories other outlets can’t or won’t –  delivering daily news and long-form investigative journalism to inform and educate the people of Connecticut.

In 2025, Inside Investigator has grown. We’ve reached more than 70 million total impressions of our stories, seen continued email subscriber growth, and have been focused on making an impact to ensure corrupt people are shown the door.

Inside Investigator journalism impacts real lives and delivers revelations to make Connecticut a better place to live.

Along the way, Inside Investigator has been decorated with 50+ state, regional, and national awards for our powerful journalism, easy-to-use website, devotion to transparency, and biweekly podcast.

As our team takes a well-deserved break this holiday week, to gear up for the year ahead, I want to share a few topic-specific pages with you so you’re up to date. Each page has a variety of important stories for you to catch up on and enjoy.

We’re excited to hit the ground running in 2026 – thank you for supporting our mission and believing in a corruption-free future.
