Today marks four years since we launched InsideInvestigator.org.
As we look to the next four years and beyond, the most important birthday message I can share is thank you for being a partner in our mission to root out corruption. It’s working, and we have no intention of slowing down.
Impact is where we thrive
Every time our reporting leads to accountability, it means your life gets better. Fewer people stealing, hurting, committing fraud, or lying results in a better Connecticut. Politicians are nervous to take our calls, and they should be: we get results.
75 awards in 48 months
The awards we’ve won often overlap with our impact, but we have also been recognized for going above and beyond in our reporting, running an easy-to-use website, and our podcast, where we pull back the curtain on how we do what we do. We’re consistently held up against the best in the business, and win.
Investing for the future
We have no ads or paywalls. We refuse money with editorial strings attached. We don’t dabble in pay-to-play or advocacy journalism. Instead, we rely on voluntary donations.
The single most helpful thing you can do on this birthday to ensure the work to root out corruption continues for the next four years and beyond is to become a monthly donor.
